I have been painting and drawing since I was old enough to hold a crayon. As a child I was forever making bits and pieces out of plasticine, trying out the latest Blue Peter sticky-back plastic creation and submitting work to Tony Hart's Gallery.
All through my school life I was drawn to creative pursuits, my dream was art college the bohemian life of an artist; simple living, floaty dresses, a roof top studio with drapes, perhaps even a chaise longue...
At age eighteen, reality hit and the prospect of living on beans for the next however many years, while I became a household name, didn't sound as appealing as a full-time job that paid money. And so I trained as an accountant.
Three years ago, I began to feel restless; as though something was missing.
And so I started to paint again.
I now have a purpose again, a passion. And although part of me regrets not following the path of higher education fine art, I feel pride in knowing that the work I create, the work people love enough to hang on the walls of their homes, comes solely from my own development over the last few years. I feel quite humbled to think that little parts of me hang all around the country.
I paint what I feel, for pleasure. I paint because I can't suppress my creativity and although some would argue that I'm not a true artist because I dont hold a piece of paper from a posh school that says so, I am proud of what I do because it make me and other people happy.

I use highest quality, artists' acrylic on stretched canvas for all of my works.
All paintings are sold signed, with a certificate of authenticity, and are ready to hang.
My paintings are carefully packaged and dispatched, within 3-5 working days.
If you don't see anything you like, please contact me for a commissioned artwork.
I'd be delighted to hear from you.
